Hello lovely people,
Welcome to my very first blog post. For those of you who don’t know me I am Gabby Clark, a 26 year old Personal Trainer and Fitness Addict from New Zealand.I am currently 17 weeks pregnant and quickly coming to the realisation that trying to be an adult does NOT get easier with time. In fact sometimes it’s harder than it should be.
This is the reason I think my brain refuses to accept I’m 26. Just the other day I was asked how old I am. Without hesitation I confidently informed them, much to their amazement and my own, “I’m 23”. WRONG brain, just wrong. As you imagined this was quickly followed by an embarrassed back track and correction to my actual age of 26. There was much less amazement from the questioner at this number.
Following on from this rather interesting conversation I started thinking, surely I’m not the only one in this crazy, wonderful world who is struggling to deal with the realities of being an adult. Juggling family, friends, work and keeping fit & healthy can be pretty full on at times!
The birth of this blog has come about from my hope that it will help those of you who are struggling to adult. Help you to smile, help you to see that you are not alone in this you world, and to keep you informed about important aspects of fitness and health.
Thank you for reading and make sure you check back here in a few days for my following blog. I promise it’ll be worth the read :p
